How Verification Works
Submit Your ID & Selfie
Upload a government-issued photo ID (driver's license, passport, state ID, or passport card) along with a real-time selfie. Your documents are encrypted and handled with strict privacy controls.
Automated Checks
Our system runs a series of automated checks on your submission, including photo matching between your ID and selfie, document readability, and tamper detection. This process is fast and fully automated.
Manual Review
A member of our moderation team reviews every submission to ensure accuracy and catch anything the automated system might miss. This adds an extra layer of trust and quality control.
Verified Badge Awarded
Once approved, your profile receives a verified badge visible to all clients. This badge signals trust, authenticity, and professionalism.
What We Check
Face Match
We compare your selfie to the photo on your ID to confirm you are who you say you are.
Document Readability
OCR technology confirms your ID contains readable, valid text and is not blurry or obscured.
Tamper Detection
Advanced image analysis checks for signs of digital manipulation, editing, or forgery.
Metadata Analysis
We inspect image metadata to detect anomalies and ensure photos are original and unaltered.
Privacy & Security
All biometric data is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with annual key rotation. We never store plaintext data.
Raw ID documents and selfies are automatically deleted within 48 hours of submission. We only retain the verification result.
You must explicitly consent before any documents are uploaded or processed. Nothing happens without your permission.
Every moderator action is logged in an append-only audit trail for accountability and transparency.
How Long Does It Take?
Most verifications are completed within 24 hours.
Automated checks run immediately after submission. Manual review typically follows within a few hours during business days.
If your submission is rejected, you'll receive a clear explanation and can resubmit with updated documents at any time from your dashboard.
