Digital Millennium Copyright Act Notice & Takedown Policy

CityAgent respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement committed using our platform.

Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content hosted on CityAgent infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice containing the following information:

Identification of the copyrighted work

A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed, or a list of works if multiple are covered by a single notification.

Identification of the infringing material

The URL or specific location on CityAgent where the material you claim is infringing can be found, with enough detail for us to locate it.

Your contact information

Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

A statement of good faith

A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.

A statement of accuracy

A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.

Your signature

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

How to Submit a DMCA Notice

Send your completed DMCA takedown notice to our designated copyright agent:

Our Takedown Process

Review the Notice

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will review it to ensure it meets the statutory requirements.

Remove or Disable Access

If the notice is valid, we will promptly remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing material.

Notify the User

We will notify the user who posted the content that it has been removed due to a DMCA claim, and provide them with a copy of the notice.

Counter-Notification

The affected user may submit a counter-notification if they believe the content was removed in error. We will forward the counter-notification to the original complainant.

Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:

  • Your full name, address, phone number, and email address
  • Identification of the material that was removed and its location before removal
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
  • Consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district and acceptance of service of process from the complainant
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Repeat Infringers

CityAgent maintains a policy of terminating the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. If a user receives multiple valid DMCA notices, their account may be suspended or permanently removed from the platform at our discretion.
